Not to be mistaken with Space Bags!! These are way better. Plastic feels more sturdy. I've had Space Bags and they've ripped on first use! These bags are definately better and better price. They seem generic but DOn't be fooled. I would definately buy these again.

I read the reviews before I purchased these and a few people said that if you follow the instructions the bags work excellent. I have actually used my bags a few times already. I sealed everything I purchased them for and 2 weeks later we had a storm that knocked out the power and had to pull out the sleeping bags that were sealed. Reused the bag afterwards and it worked perfectly fine. Open the same bag a week later and resealed, still works perfect. If u follow the instructions and don't over stuff them per the instructions...the are great to have!

I was skeptical on this yet another vacuum bag. I had purchased Spacebag from Target and knew this product would be a hit or miss. At the worst, as many have described in their reviews, this bag would perform as inconsistently as the Spacebag. I am glad to report that this bag is better.
It does two things better than the Spacebag, the vacuum valve and the top seal. Vacuum valve design is what Spacebag should have been. Instead of flimsy and inconsistent leak-as-it-may rubber gasket valves, this valve screws down shut. By screwing the valve to a close, vacuum is ensured at the valve.
Whereas the Spacebag had easy-to-zip but not-so-tight single strip of top seal, this bag has two tighter closing double strip of top seals. They are more difficult to seal, but one can feel that they are sealed tight. After the valve, this was probably the most obvious place where air would leak.
This bag's material is same or comparable to that of the Spacebag. I wish it was more sturdy especially with the larger bag sizes.
This is a good bag and better one than the Spacebag. It has a better valve design that ensures better vacuum at the valve. And the tighter double top seals are better. Heavier bag would have been preferred for the larger sizes. I would definitely purchase this bag again.
