This did not work at all for me , would not grind the salt at all. I bought this one because I have the copper pepper mill and have had it for many years now and love it , however they must have changed something as this just did not work.. Very disappointed.. : (

My husband wanted a salt mill to accompany the brass pepper mill we've had for 20+ years; this was an excellent choice. This salt mill produces a "fine" grind of sea salt with ease. It's easy to fill and looks great on the table. Given the corrosive nature of salt, if this lasts half as long as long as our pepper mill, it will have been well worth the price. My husband is very pleased.
